Argentine Flag
The Argentine Flag consists of three horizontal stripes: light blue at the top and bottom, with a white stripe in the middle. The flag features a golden sun, known as the Sun of May, in the center of the white stripe. This sun has 16 rays and symbolizes freedom and independence.
Adopted on February 27, 1812, the flag was designed by Manuel Belgrano, one of Argentina's national heroes. The colors are often interpreted as representing the sky and clouds, while the sun symbolizes the emergence of a new nation. The flag is a significant national symbol for Argentina.
