Archbishop Justin Welby
Archbishop Justin Welby is the current Archbishop of Canterbury, a position he has held since 2013. He is the spiritual leader of the Church of England and the worldwide Anglican Communion. Born on January 6, 1956, in London, he was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge and later worked in the oil industry before entering the ministry.
Welby was ordained as a priest in 1992 and became the Bishop of Durham in 2011. As Archbishop, he focuses on issues such as social justice, reconciliation, and the role of faith in public life. He is known for his efforts to promote unity within the Anglican Communion and address contemporary challenges facing the church.
