Ararat Mountain
Ararat Mountain is a prominent peak located in eastern Turkey, near the border with Armenia. It stands at an elevation of 5,137 meters (16,854 feet), making it the highest mountain in Turkey. The mountain is known for its snow-capped summit and is often associated with various legends, including the biblical story of Noah's Ark.
The mountain is part of the Ararat Range and features two main volcanic cones: Greater Ararat and Lesser Ararat. Its unique landscape includes glaciers, rocky slopes, and diverse flora and fauna. Ararat Mountain is a popular destination for climbers and hikers, attracting many adventurers each year.
