Apollo spacecraft
The Apollo spacecraft were a series of crewed space vehicles developed by NASA for the Apollo program, which aimed to land humans on the Moon. The spacecraft consisted of two main parts: the Command Module, where astronauts lived and controlled the mission, and the Lunar Module, designed for landing on the Moon's surface.
The first successful crewed mission was Apollo 11 in 1969, when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the Moon. The Apollo program included a total of six lunar landings, significantly advancing human space exploration and scientific knowledge.
