Apollo 11 crew
The Apollo 11 crew consisted of three astronauts: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Launched on July 16, 1969, they were part of NASA's mission to land humans on the Moon.
Neil Armstrong served as the mission commander and became the first person to walk on the lunar surface. Buzz Aldrin followed him, making him the second person to set foot on the Moon. Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit aboard the Command Module, ensuring the safe return of his crewmates. The mission successfully returned to Earth on July 24, 1969.
