Apoapsis
Apoapsis is the point in an orbit where an object is farthest from the body it is orbiting. For example, in the case of a satellite orbiting Earth, the apoapsis is the highest point in its elliptical path. This distance can vary depending on the shape of the orbit and the gravitational influence of other bodies.
In the context of celestial mechanics, the term "apoapsis" can be modified to specify the central body. For instance, when referring to the apoapsis of a satellite around Earth, it is often called apogee, while for a satellite around the Moon, it is termed apolune.
