Anycast Communication
Anycast Communication is a network addressing and routing method that allows multiple devices to share the same IP address. When a data packet is sent to this address, it is delivered to the nearest device in terms of network topology. This helps improve response times and load balancing, as the request is handled by the closest server.
This technique is commonly used in Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and Domain Name System (DNS) services. By directing user requests to the nearest server, Anycast enhances the efficiency of data delivery and increases the reliability of online services.
