Antun Mihanović
Antun Mihanović was a Croatian poet and politician, born on December 10, 1796, in the town of Križevci. He is best known for his poem "Horvatska domovina," which became an important symbol of Croatian national identity. Mihanović's work contributed to the cultural revival of Croatia during the 19th century.
In addition to his literary contributions, Mihanović was involved in politics and served as a member of the Croatian Parliament. His efforts in promoting the Croatian language and culture were significant during a time of national awakening. Mihanović passed away on June 20, 1861.
