Antony Armstrong-Jones
Antony Armstrong-Jones, also known as the 1st Earl of Snowdon, was a British photographer and filmmaker born on March 7, 1930. He gained fame for his innovative portrait photography and was known for capturing the essence of his subjects, including members of the British royal family. In 1960, Armstrong-Jones married Princess Margaret, the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II, which elevated his public profile. The couple had two children but divorced in 1978. Armstrong-Jones continued to work in photography and film until his death on January 13, 2017.
