Anthony Blunt
Anthony Blunt was a British art historian and a key figure in the Cambridge Five, a group of spies who passed information to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Born in 1907, he studied at Cambridge University and later became the Surveyor of the Queen's Pictures, responsible for the royal art collection.
Blunt's espionage activities were kept secret for many years, but he was publicly exposed in 1979. Despite his contributions to art history, including his work on French art, his legacy is overshadowed by his betrayal and the scandal surrounding his spying activities.
