Anthony Armstrong-Jones
Anthony Armstrong-Jones, also known as the 1st Earl of Snowdon, was a British photographer and filmmaker born on March 7, 1930. He gained fame for his striking portraits and was known for capturing the essence of his subjects, including members of the British royal family. His most notable work includes photographs of Queen Elizabeth II and other prominent figures.
In 1960, Armstrong-Jones married Princess Margaret, the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II, which elevated his public profile. The couple had two children but divorced in 1978. Armstrong-Jones continued to work in photography and film until his death on January 13, 2017.
