Another Place
Another Place is a public art installation located on the beach at Crosby, England. Created by artist Antony Gormley, it features 100 cast-iron figures that are modeled after the artist's own body. The figures are positioned along the shoreline, facing the sea, and are designed to interact with the changing tides and weather.
The installation was first unveiled in 1997 and has since become a popular attraction for both locals and tourists. The figures are placed at varying distances from the shore, allowing visitors to experience the artwork differently as the tide rises and falls, creating a dynamic relationship between art and nature.
