Anglo-Australians
Anglo-Australians are individuals in Australia who are of British descent or have cultural ties to the United Kingdom. This group has played a significant role in shaping Australia's history, culture, and society since the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. Many Anglo-Australians identify with the English language, customs, and traditions that originated in Britain.
The term "Anglo-Australian" often encompasses a diverse range of people, including those with Irish, Scottish, and Welsh ancestry. While they make up a substantial portion of the Australian population, the country is also home to many other ethnic groups, contributing to its multicultural identity.
