Andronicus I Comnenus
Andronicus I Comnenus was a Byzantine Emperor who ruled from 1183 to 1185. He was a member of the Comnenus dynasty and was known for his ambitious and often ruthless approach to power. Before becoming emperor, he had a military career and was involved in various political intrigues.
His reign was marked by attempts to reform the empire and strengthen its military. However, his harsh methods led to widespread discontent among the populace. In 1185, he was overthrown and killed, ending his brief and tumultuous rule over the Byzantine Empire.
