Andrew V. McLaglen
Andrew V. McLaglen was an American television and film director, born on July 28, 1920, in Lakewood, New Jersey. He is best known for his work on popular television series such as Gunsmoke and Have Gun – Will Travel. McLaglen directed numerous episodes, contributing significantly to the Western genre during the 1960s and 1970s.
In addition to television, McLaglen directed several films, including The Wild Geese and The Devil's Brigade. His career spanned over five decades, and he was recognized for his ability to create engaging stories that resonated with audiences. McLaglen passed away on August 30, 2014.
