Andrew Goodman
Andrew Goodman was an American civil rights activist known for his involvement in the Freedom Summer campaign of 1964. He was born on November 23, 1943, in New York City and became a prominent figure in the fight for voting rights for African Americans in the southern United States.
Goodman, along with fellow activists Michael Schwerner and James Chaney, was murdered in Mississippi while working to register black voters.
