Andrej Plenković is a Croatian politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Croatia since January 2016. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and has been involved in politics for many years, including serving as a Member of the European Parliament from 2013 to 2016. Plenković was born on April 8, 1970, in Zagreb, Croatia. He studied law at the University of Zagreb and later earned a master's degree in European studies. As Prime Minister, he has focused on economic reforms, European integration, and managing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
