Andúril is a fictional sword from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, primarily featured in "The Lord of the Rings." It is the reforged version of Narsil, the sword that belonged to Elendil and was used to defeat the Dark Lord Sauron during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.
The sword is wielded by Aragorn, the heir of Isildur, as he claims his rightful place as king. Andúril symbolizes hope and the restoration of the kingdom of Gondor, representing the unity of the past and the future in the fight against evil.
