Ana Aslan
Ana Aslan was a Romanian physician and gerontologist, best known for her pioneering work in the field of aging. Born on December 1, 1897, she developed a keen interest in the science of longevity and became a prominent figure in anti-aging research. Her most notable contribution was the creation of the drug Gerovital H3, which she claimed could slow down the aging process and improve the quality of life for older adults.
Throughout her career, Aslan published numerous studies and articles on aging and health. She founded the Ana Aslan Institute of Geriatrics in Bucharest, which focused on research and treatment for elderly patients. Her work earned her international recognition, and she became a member of various scientific organizations dedicated to gerontology.
