Ammon Bundy
Ammon Bundy is an American activist known for his involvement in various protests related to land use and federal government policies. He gained national attention during the 2014 standoff at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, where he and his supporters opposed the Bureau of Land Management's efforts to round up cattle that were grazing on public land without permits.
In 2016, Bundy led a group of armed protesters in the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. This event was aimed at advocating for local control of federal lands. His actions have sparked significant debate over property rights, government authority, and the management of public lands in the United States.
