American Rose Society
The American Rose Society (ARS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the cultivation and appreciation of roses. Founded in 1892, it serves as a resource for rose enthusiasts, providing educational materials, gardening tips, and information on rose care. The ARS also organizes events, including rose shows and competitions, to celebrate the beauty and diversity of roses.
In addition to its educational efforts, the ARS publishes a quarterly magazine called American Rose, which features articles on rose gardening, hybridization, and pest management. The society also offers membership benefits, such as access to local rose societies and discounts on rose-related products.
