American Philatelic Society
The American Philatelic Society (APS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the hobby of stamp collecting, known as philately. Founded in 1886, it serves as a resource for collectors of all levels, providing educational materials, expert advice, and a platform for buying, selling, and trading stamps.
The APS also organizes events, such as stamp shows and exhibitions, to promote the hobby and connect collectors. Members receive access to a variety of publications, including the American Philatelist magazine, which features articles on stamp history, collecting tips, and news from the philatelic community.
