American Baptist Association
The American Baptist Association (ABA) is a group of Baptist churches in the United States that emphasizes local church autonomy and the authority of the Bible. Founded in 1905, the ABA promotes a conservative interpretation of Christianity and focuses on evangelism, missions, and education.
The association is made up of independent congregations that cooperate for mutual support and outreach. It operates various ministries, including the American Baptist College and the Baptist Missionary Association, to further its mission and provide resources for its member churches.
