Alpha Piscium
Alpha Piscium, also known as Alrescha, is a binary star system located in the constellation of Pisces. It is approximately 139 light-years away from Earth and is one of the brightest stars in its constellation. The name "Alrescha" comes from the Arabic word for "the cord," reflecting its position in the sky.
The system consists of two stars that are gravitationally bound to each other. The primary star is a spectral type A, which means it is hotter and more luminous than our Sun. The secondary star is a type F star, slightly cooler and less bright. Together, they create a visually appealing sight for stargazers.
