Alpha Condé
Alpha Condé is a Guinean politician who served as the President of Guinea from December 2010 until September 2021. He was the first democratically elected president in the country’s history, winning the election after a long political career that included years of opposition to previous regimes.
Born on March 4, 1938, Condé studied in France and became involved in politics during his time there. He was a prominent figure in the fight against dictatorship in Guinea and was imprisoned multiple times for his activism before eventually becoming president.
