Alpha Cancri
Alpha Cancri, also known as Acubens, is a binary star system located in the constellation of Cancer. It is approximately 174 light-years away from Earth and is one of the brightest stars in its constellation. The system consists of two stars, with the primary star being a giant star of spectral type A5III.
The two stars in Alpha Cancri are gravitationally bound and orbit each other. The primary star is about 75 times more luminous than the Sun, while the secondary star is a smaller, fainter companion.
