Alice Liddell
Alice Liddell was a young English girl born on May 4, 1852. She is best known as the inspiration for Lewis Carroll's famous book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Liddell met Carroll, whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, when she was a child, and their friendship led to the creation of the beloved story.
Liddell's family was well-connected, and she grew up in a privileged environment. She later became a prominent figure in Victorian society and married Reginald Hargreaves in 1880. Alice Liddell's legacy continues through the enduring popularity of the Alice in Wonderland stories.
