Aliakmonas River
The Aliakmonas River is the longest river in Greece, stretching approximately 322 kilometers. It flows through the northern part of the country, originating from the Vardousia Mountains and eventually emptying into the Thermaic Gulf. The river is an important water source for agriculture and supports various ecosystems along its banks.
