Alfonso Soriano
Alfonso Soriano is a former professional baseball player from the Dominican Republic. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) primarily as an outfielder and second baseman. Soriano made his MLB debut in 1999 with the New York Yankees and went on to play for several teams, including the Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, and Chicago Cubs. He was known for his powerful hitting and speed on the bases.
Throughout his career, Soriano was a six-time All-Star and won a Silver Slugger Award multiple times. He is recognized for his ability to hit home runs and steal bases, achieving over 400 home runs and 300 stolen bases during his time in the league. Soriano retired from professional baseball in 2014.
