Alfonso I d'Este
Alfonso I d'Este was an Italian nobleman born in 1476, known for being the Duke of Ferrara, Modena, and Reggio. He was a member of the House of Este, a prominent family in the region. Alfonso's reign began in 1505 and lasted until his death in 1534, during which he worked to strengthen his duchy and promote the arts.
