Alexisonfire is a Canadian post-hardcore band formed in 2001 in St. Catharines, Ontario. The group consists of members George Pettit, Dallas Green, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele, and Jordan Hastings. Known for their energetic performances and a blend of melodic and aggressive sounds, they gained popularity in the early 2000s. The band released several albums, including their self-titled debut in 2002 and Crisis in 2006, which received critical acclaim. After a hiatus in 2011, Alexisonfire reunited in 2015 and continues to influence the post-hardcore scene with their unique style and powerful lyrics.
