The Aldmeri Dominion is a political alliance in the fictional universe of The Elder Scrolls, primarily consisting of three races: the High Elves (or Altmer), the Wood Elves (or Bosmer), and the Khajiit. Formed during the events of the Fourth Era, its main goal is to establish a stronghold against the influence of humans and to promote the superiority of elven culture. The Dominion's capital is located in Valenwood, where the Wood Elves reside, and it also includes the Summerset Isles, home to the High Elves. The alliance seeks to reclaim the lands and influence lost to human kingdoms, particularly in the wake of the Great War against the Empire of Tamriel.
