Alcohol Content
Alcohol content refers to the amount of alcohol present in a beverage, usually expressed as a percentage of the total volume. This measurement helps consumers understand the strength of the drink. For example, a beverage with 5% alcohol content means that 5% of the liquid is pure alcohol, while the remaining 95% consists of water and other ingredients.
Different types of drinks have varying alcohol content. For instance, beer typically ranges from 4% to 6%, while wine can range from 9% to 16%. Spirits, such as vodka or whiskey, usually have a higher alcohol content, often around 40% or more.
