Albanian American
An Albanian American is a person of Albanian descent who resides in the United States. This community has roots that trace back to various waves of immigration, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as during the political upheavals in the Balkans in the 1990s. Many Albanian Americans maintain cultural traditions, including language, cuisine, and festivals, which reflect their heritage.
The Albanian American community is diverse, with individuals coming from different regions of Albania, such as Tirana and Shkodra. They have contributed to various fields, including business, politics, and the arts, enriching the American cultural landscape while preserving their unique identity.
