Akshara Haasan is an Indian actress and filmmaker, known for her work in Tamil and Hindi cinema. Born on October 12, 1991, she is the daughter of renowned actor Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika Thakur. Akshara made her acting debut in the 2015 film Shamitabh, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. In addition to acting, Akshara has also ventured into direction. She directed the film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana in 2017. With a background in performing arts, she has been recognized for her talent and contributions to the Indian film industry.
