Akhmat Kadyrov
Akhmat Kadyrov was a Chechen political leader and the first President of the Chechen Republic, serving from 2003 until his assassination in 2004. He was a former mufti and played a significant role in the Chechen conflict, initially opposing Russian forces before switching sides and supporting the Russian government.
