Akhand Path
Akhand Path is a continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism. This practice is performed without interruption, typically taking about 48 hours to complete. It is often conducted during significant religious occasions or to mark important events in the lives of individuals or communities.
The recitation is usually done by a group of Sikh devotees, who take turns reading aloud from the scripture. The purpose of Akhand Path is to foster spiritual growth, promote community bonding, and provide an opportunity for reflection and prayer. It is a revered tradition that emphasizes devotion and respect for the teachings of Guru Nanak and the subsequent Gurus.
