Air Springs
Air springs are flexible devices that use compressed air to support loads and absorb shocks. They are commonly found in vehicles, such as trucks and buses, where they help improve ride quality by reducing vibrations and impacts from the road. Air springs can adjust their height and stiffness, allowing for better handling and stability.
These components consist of an air-filled rubber bladder and a metal frame. When air pressure changes, the bladder expands or contracts, altering the spring's characteristics. This technology is also used in other applications, including industrial machinery and air suspension systems for passenger cars.
