Aerospace Engines
Aerospace engines are specialized machines designed to propel aircraft and spacecraft. They convert fuel into energy, producing thrust to lift and move vehicles through the air or space. There are two main types: jet engines, which are commonly used in commercial airplanes, and rocket engines, which are essential for launching spacecraft beyond Earth's atmosphere.
These engines operate on different principles. Jet engines work by sucking in air, compressing it, mixing it with fuel, and igniting the mixture to create a high-speed exhaust. In contrast, rocket engines carry both fuel and an oxidizer, allowing them to function in the vacuum of space where there is no air.
