Aerophones
Aerophones are musical instruments that produce sound primarily by vibrating air. This category includes instruments like flutes, trumpets, and saxophones. The sound is created when air is blown into or across the instrument, causing the air column inside to vibrate.
These instruments can be classified into two main types: woodwinds and brass. Woodwinds, such as clarinets and oboes, use reeds or are played by blowing air across an opening. Brass instruments, like trombones and French horns, produce sound through the vibration of the player's lips in a mouthpiece.
