Aeroengine
An aeroengine is a type of engine specifically designed to propel aircraft. It converts fuel into mechanical energy, generating thrust to lift and move the aircraft through the air. There are two main types of aeroengines: turbofan engines, commonly used in commercial jets, and turbojet engines, which are often found in military aircraft.
Aeroengines operate on the principles of aerodynamics and thermodynamics. They intake air, compress it, mix it with fuel, and ignite the mixture to produce high-speed exhaust gases. This process creates thrust, allowing the aircraft to take off, fly, and land efficiently.
