Aeritalia
Aeritalia was an Italian aerospace company founded in 1951, known for its involvement in the design and manufacturing of aircraft and aerospace systems. The company played a significant role in various projects, including military and civilian aircraft, as well as satellite technology.
In 1980, Aeritalia merged with other companies to form the larger entity known as Alenia Aeronautica, which is part of the Leonardo S.p.A. group today. This merger allowed for expanded capabilities in aerospace engineering and production, contributing to Italy's position in the global aerospace industry.
