Adolfo Suárez
Adolfo Suárez was a Spanish politician who served as the Prime Minister of Spain from 1976 to 1981. He played a crucial role in the transition of Spain from a dictatorship under Francisco Franco to a democratic government. Suárez was instrumental in drafting the new Spanish Constitution, which was approved in 1978.
Born on September 25, 1932, in Cebreros, Suárez began his political career in the Franco regime but later became a key figure in promoting democratic reforms.
