Active Shutter
Active shutter technology is a method used in 3D displays to create the illusion of depth. It works by rapidly alternating between the left and right eye images, which are viewed through special glasses. These glasses have liquid crystal lenses that open and close in sync with the display, allowing each eye to see only its corresponding image.
This technique is commonly used in 3D televisions and cinemas, providing a more immersive viewing experience. Active shutter systems require a compatible display and can deliver high-quality 3D visuals, but they may also cause flickering or require precise synchronization to function effectively.
