Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR
The Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR was established in 1946 as the primary scientific institution in the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic. Its main goal was to promote research and development across various fields, including natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The academy played a crucial role in advancing scientific knowledge and education in Kazakhstan during the Soviet era.
Throughout its history, the academy contributed to significant scientific achievements and collaborations, fostering innovation and expertise. In 1991, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, it was restructured and became the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, continuing its mission to support scientific progress in the country.
