Academic Years
An academic year is a period during which students attend school or university, typically lasting about nine months. It usually begins in late summer or early fall and ends in spring or early summer. The academic year is divided into terms, such as semesters or quarters, which help organize the curriculum and schedule classes.
Different countries and educational institutions may have varying academic calendars. For example, in the United States, the academic year often starts in August or September and ends in May or June. In contrast, many European countries may follow a different schedule, often starting in September and concluding in June.
