AUV
An AUV, or Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, is a type of robot designed to operate underwater without direct human control. These vehicles are equipped with sensors and cameras to collect data about the ocean environment, such as temperature, salinity, and marine life. AUVs are commonly used in scientific research, underwater exploration, and environmental monitoring.
AUVs can navigate through water using pre-programmed routes or by following GPS signals. They are often deployed for tasks like mapping the seafloor, inspecting underwater structures, and conducting surveys. Their ability to operate autonomously makes them valuable tools for oceanographers and marine researchers.
