ASLV
The ASLV, or Augmented Satellite Launch Vehicle, was an Indian launch vehicle developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It was designed to enhance India's capabilities in launching satellites into low Earth orbit. The ASLV program aimed to develop technologies for future launch vehicles and was a significant step in India's space exploration efforts.
The ASLV had its first successful flight in 1992 and completed a total of five missions by 1994. It was instrumental in testing various technologies, including the use of solid rocket boosters and payload integration, paving the way for more advanced launch systems like the PSLV and GSLV.
