ANFP
The ANFP, or Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, is the governing body for professional football in Chile. Established in 1933, it oversees the organization and regulation of the country's top football leagues, including the Primera División and the Primera B. The ANFP is responsible for promoting the sport, managing competitions, and ensuring compliance with national and international football regulations.
In addition to managing league competitions, the ANFP also plays a crucial role in the development of football in Chile. It organizes youth programs, training for coaches, and initiatives to improve facilities. The association also represents Chilean football in international forums, working closely with organizations like FIFA and CONMEBOL.
