ANA Inspiration
The ANA Inspiration is a prestigious women's professional golf tournament held annually in California. It is part of the LPGA Tour and is known for its rich history, having been established in 1972. The tournament is played at the Mission Hills Country Club and features a unique tradition where the winner jumps into the Poppie’s Pond as a celebration.
Originally named the Dinah Shore Tournament, the event was renamed in 2015 to honor its sponsor, ANA, a major airline. The tournament attracts top female golfers from around the world, competing for a significant prize purse and the iconic winner's trophy.
